Guy hunted in n the king and Kennedy ranches ( some of the biggest private ranches being 825,000 and 235,000 acres ). Places where so massive he'd go in for days-weeks at a time. Was a bit of a kings land type of deal due to the poor hunting conditions of public land and general poverty of the area. Long story short if you wanted decent hunting and to fill your freezer ... Had to eather travel long distances or poach off these ranches. Lived in small bush camps he'd make, ate mainly what he shot , evaded cowboys on horse back and helicopter who's job it was to find poachers . All this in the days before wide spread suppressor use. Got to the point he said he enjoyed " the game" and thrill of poaching and our smarting game wardens and ranch hands more then most else. Finally got caught and became a reformed guy. Been on a lot of podcasts tell his stories and honestly more and more i feel a poor poacher can really enjoy and care for a property way more then some rich land owner... any how , found the FB page for his book and tight yalled like skwm fo these pictures he posted 12 5 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
