I suppose it's much easier to do when the natives only make up about 11% of the already small population.

so again immigration is detrimental to the natives

but we have known that for millennia and your still arguing for the good in it  lol

Can still find £50 million quid a week for the 3rd world boat people mind you……but Farmer Giles not handing over an extra £300,000 is the problem ! lol

We have to have taxes, it’s how they are spent I object to. I remember when VAT was introduced at the behest of the EU. We were told “ don’t worry , it’s a tax on luxury goods, only milliona

That’s me done with you, I can’t believe you are so thick a shit as to not figure it out so you must just be being deliberately obtuse…..

What isn’t funny however is how many people think exactly like what you have been writing, as in that is their belief system…..indeed that is the government isn’t it and has been for decades.
And that folks is why we are in the state we are in.

So, no answer then, so, given your sums, we are short of £200 billion tax revenue with all the same demands. So, let's go to the extreme measure of kicking out all immigrants, the money saved on some of the dead wood would not cover the £200 billion lost, so, where would that leave us, tax hikes or face more service cuts?

I imagine the UAE's would view things differently if their native population was 80% greater.

I started this thread asking “what is happening to my country ?”.

That it is on a downward spiral I’m of no doubt, even Starmer is on record as saying things will get worse.

Whos to blame for this ? Well, if I ran a country and it was going bankrupt, I’d be to blame !

So, who runs the UK ? Well, , nominally, it’s the government, ( I say “nominally” because someone is bound to say it’s not the government, it’s the Royals/ Establishment/Deepstate/ WEF/ Masons/Illuminatti, take your pick.), but it’s the government that makes the rules.

The Tory’s have overseen 14 years of decline, I like to think it’s because of gross incompetence, not a planned strategy.

Now it’s Labour who are accelerating that decline , also I think, by gross incompetence, but also by ideology and left wing dogma, driven by a deeply held class hatred and envy.

So what can we do to halt the decline ? Well we stop voting for the parties that are responsible for it.

Personally I’d give Farage and Reform a chance, on the simple premise that they couldn’t do worse and may just do better. Of course they arn’t perfect, no one is but let’s  see, they can always be voted out again.

Other than that , I don’t know.

without change, I fear for my country….
Cheers.

Yes, our services are the worst they have ever been, but, on planet are you on to think that they would be better or the same if we put in less tax revenue? The bottom feeders would still be the ones suffering with even worse services. We are still relatively well off compared to many countries, how low would you be willing to accept for a bit more cash in your pocket instead of the system?

Wouldn't we all because it clearly isn't working is it? You'll know as much as me, that even though things were getting worse, after COVID it got considerably worse in the NHS.

I’d say the timelines are bigger but I agree with all of that otherwise

The decline can be traced back to various points in time; the retreat from East of Suez, the end of WW2 or even the end of WW1, but the timeline I mentioned is where I see the decline personally in my life.

Cheers.
