They are saying alot of insurance company's don't cover the wildfires or scaled back cover for it as its a known area so many people won't be covered and over 2000 homes gone. Won't act like I'm an expert on the matter but they do alot of stuff that looks good on paper but doesn't actually help. Being against controlled burns , water diversion ect. Was reading something from land management and fire fighters over there and they says it's such a mess half the time because they want stuff to LOOK good but not do the more ugly stuff that actually helps. Hell most of the native tribes knew if you did control burns to get rid of the under brush it would help make wild fires not as bad buuut .... Incidentally, given the change in climate and that it now appears huge chunks of the US, Europe and Australia are effectively turned into gigantic tinderboxes every couple of years.., and the astronomic financial damage which is done when they go up…, isn’t that a fcuking open goal to anyone looking to harm said places?
