tatsblisters 10,318 Posted January 7 Report Share Posted January 7 Wernt it the European Union that banned the dredging of rivers and waterways. I can never remember as a kid hearing about part's of Rotherham flooding but the floods of in recent times have been regular in some areas due i to belive house building on flood plains and dredging of rivers like the Don. riohog 5,751 Posted January 7 Report Share Posted January 7 they have built hundreds of houses within a couple of miles of of the villiage i live in now the st works cant keep up with the water flow in the works , therefore it goes straight in the river, and floods all the land and roads ,, the job is fkd....
