Hope it all went well Ray and you have a speedy recovery. Know a few lads who have had new knees and it can be a ballache for a while regarding mobility. All the best mate.

Unfortunately my old lady was one of those where it wasn't a success. She suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and her knees ended up getting septic arthritis. She can't even straighten her legs fully anymore and is in constant pain that will not shift. She's tried all sorts of painkillers and even cannabis, no joy.

That's bad mate. Luckily enough I don't suffer with the knees just my hips with slight arthritis and lads i know reckon the knee replacements are a lot worse than the hip replacements that i have been told I might need at a later date.

Gnash is right.. in the meantime, eat lots of berries (blue, cran etc), Spices like ginger, turmeric (lots of it fresh or powder), chilies, cayenne pepper, black pepper, olive oil, coconut oil and glucosamine. fatty fish (anything rich in omega 3), dark chocolate (darker the better). Stay away from anything processed (meats, carbs), deep fried foods, seed oils. A diet change won't reverse arthritis but it will help slow the progression down mate ;)

My mum is riddled with it and with all my past broken bones it's in the post for me, so I heap the above into my daily diet.

My favourite is a shake made with bananas, berries, ginger and fresh turmeric, topped up with water not milk. Loads of info and recipes online.

And then you reverse all the favours you've done your system by passing out on cheap 🍷 lol
