I'm 59 and fortunately still in good health, be lying if I said i didn't have a fair few niggles but I payed rugby for 20 odd years and gym four times a week (mixture of strength and cardio) and do about 50-60 miles a week around the local hills with the lurchers. I could dial it down a bit but where's the fun that lol. Seriously thinking about doing a few Hyrox competitions in'25 to get the competitive juices flowing as I love a challenge. My life motto at the moment is "age is not an excuse to get old." so I intend to squeeze the most of life whilst I can.

41 .. still think I'm 20 though but my body thinks different, bad hip and knee , golfers elbow , a left hand that clicks constantly.

Took up ice skating after 25yrs since I last tried it .. (would love to try ice hockey but will wait and see).

Spent a day go karting yesterday and I'm like a 90 yr old man today walking about

I used to be a fairly decent skater as a kid,borrowed some skates last week,can't even stand up,I thought skating would be like riding a bike but apparently not.

Snap , can't go backwards anymore , never was any good at stopping quick , but can't even stop slowly now . On the plus side I haven't fell over much

64 and not a day goes past that I don't curse politicians as if they had not raised the state pension age i would only have another year to retirement. Lol   . I am in reasonably good health bar the odd niggles with sciatica and arthritis in my hips. I don't know wether it's an age thing but I hate being around large groups of people especially those full of drink as the wife says i am just a miserable old feker getting worse as I get older.

I'm like that and you have over 20 year on me. I'm not the most sociable of people, don't get me wrong, when I'm out you'd think different but truth be told, I just don't like going out anymore. New Year's Eve we are going to our lasses mates, I'd sooner stay at home, I'm not arsed, but, you gotta keep em happy haven't you? Lol

Seen a few old mate's from school recently and one said get thi sen in the county one night . The county Borough pub in Rotherham nick named the Zoo. I thought feck that sooner sit down the woods with a flask of coffee.

I like companionship, but I like my own company and wild places more. 

I wouldn't have minded being a trapper. But I would have two or three squaws in my log cabin for home comforts. I would be careful not to learn their language or let them learn mine. Too much earache.
