harryshounds 1,130 Posted December 22, 2024 Report Share Posted December 22, 2024 Just myself and Cú and Floyd today. Flushed plenty of roosters, woodcock and got two marks at rats. First a big rat bolted and gave us the slip but Floyd stayed at the mark and we got one good sized rat. Second mark, rat bolted to another burrow, marked him again and he bolted again but this time in got in under an oak tree so I gave best.....I've had to dig to terriers on this land under the same trees and it's hardship, wasn't going through that for a rat. Got a good hunt then in a woods, Floyd went well and covered lots of ground. Nice few hrs out. 3 Quote Link to post
