Bangersanmash 2,867 Posted Sunday at 18:43 Report Share Posted Sunday at 18:43 (edited) Been out this morning with dogs. Terrier was on tiptoes with the scent in the air wind still up. Ended up knocking a few bunnies out of some think blackberry cover. The wind had knocked the cover about so they didn't want to move about in the cover. Shying off Straight down the warrens. Shame we didn't have a bird of prey would have nailed them. Some great pics of her using her nose on this grassed area where she end up getting on the scent in the air leading her straight into the blackberry cover just off the photos. Alot of covers been knocked about with this wind so not too dense anymore. Edited Sunday at 19:58 by Bangersanmash 6 1 Quote Link to post

That's what I've got her for go all days this little c**t. Very vocal at home though at move in house without her thinking were going out. If a go to front door she's barking like f**k. Any family come an you shut her in kitchen. Again crys like f**k. A shouldn't have know as a pup. She's the one when you used to pick her up scream like you were killing her . One of pups went to settle another on a farm up Huddersfield livery yard out all day mooching. Fella said he just fucks off. Another went up near peak district to a guy I've become good pals with. Lost it up on peaks somewhere near a crag. He's not into grafting dogs in that way. Done abit of work with hawks in his day bit of ferrets. But was saying he shit himself because he could just hear dog yapping in a crag area thought that was it. An a ginger bolted. Jasper I named that dog. Smooth coated dog. Lol. Miss was like a told you I like him. Am thinking f**k that to me that's a nightmare out walking bushing and dog doing that. This bitch here keeps going towards this badger set wanting to f**k off an investigate. I've to get her on lead now when a go near it. It's dug like a pot hole an shits in it. So she goes upto that try's f***ing rolling in it. Then was shooting towards the set. 1 Quote Link to post

We had some handy ones about us 20 yrs back, would go into anything....rough old working style on the dogs mind, they didn't learn any manners, the bitches were steady you could get multiple digs with them....Oakes and Oxcroft prefix from memory....I had a first x border/Lakeland bitch bred out of them...killed a decent black digging bitch I had it kennelled with at 11 months old...ended up with a keeper down Cornwall way...was one of the hardest dogs)bitches I've ever worked,a liability tbh, wouldn't keep anything like it these days 1 Quote Link to post

Crazy how dogs can turn like that after been shown some quarry that fights back. Pre ban all this was. Like you say today you wouldn't have one given. Too much trouble. Quote Link to post
