My new one is to get cold callers going. Especially when they are Indian are called Andrew or Martin, Shirley or similar. Other times, I will just have a full on chat with them, asking about their families, hobbies, favourite foods etc. I've made loads of friends. Offers of accommodation and allsorts 

I speak Welsh to them and pretend i can't speak English..... however in the past.....I've asked to be put through to the Welsh language line, to be told they don't have one, then get put through to the manager,  i then let rip with the 1993 Welsh Language act one chap said "but sir you speak very good English"...me "yes i know probably better than you do, but that's not the point is it"....i haven't had a cold call for a while now, no idea why.....
