Had a decent dear hound grey collie grey. Came off Trev70 at the time she was around 6 year old when he brought her . Clever bitch just wasn't right for what he wanted up dales. I had a decent whippet at the time what Trev wanted seen her out a few time. So what he was doing up dale ideal for ferreting. So we did a swap. But the bitch was clever you could see the collie in her. She used to go out of the lamp then back in when she was on top of the bunnies very clever dog. Pick them up from a stand still like no other dog I've had. I've had dogs that used to taken them but rush in. Some times getting caught out when close to cover. But this bitch didn't hardly miss anything. Age got the better of her. Quote Link to post

That's the dog using its head ability to make easy work. This bitch used to run up side of stone walls an fencing to bring the bunnies back onto the land. The deer hound side was out of David plates old strain. Deerhound grey x beddy grey. Then put to a collie cross bitch. Storm she was called. Best all round lurcher I've had. Trev said you won't be disappointed in the swap. That whippet ended up coming back home 4 miles lol. Was on my door step. Jumped a 6ft fence to come back home . Said I'd gone out to feed her. Next min she was gone. Had to come out looking for her. Crossed a busy main road then walked 4 miles. I'd never even taken up that way near his either. So how the f**k can a dog find its way back like that. My brother was like f**k letting her go back clever f***ing dog. Lol. But a couldn't do that to Trev. A buzzed him and told him that bitch is her. Edited December 4 by Bangersanmash 1 Quote Link to post
