😂😂😂 thats a good one. Had a decent dear hound grey collie grey. Came off Trev70 at the time she was around 6 year old when he brought her . Clever bitch just wasn't right for what he wanted up dales.  I had a decent whippet at the time what Trev wanted seen her out a few time. So what he was doing up dale ideal for ferreting. So we did a swap. But the bitch was clever you could see the collie in her. She used to go out of the lamp then back in when she was on top of the bunnies very clever dog. Pick them up from a stand still like no other dog I've had. I've had dogs that used to taken them but rush in. Some times getting caught out when close to cover. But this bitch didn't hardly miss anything. Age got the better of her.

🤔Bred several litter of F1 hybrids,.. using Collies and Greyhounds as Sires and Dams,...and other than the Greyhound bitches producing larger litters,.. we have found very little genetic difference...

🤔I grew up around Sheepdogs and Cattle curs, and we did have collie saturated lurcher dogs,...but, nobody I ever knew,.. had an actual Greyhound🙄 There was one about somewhere,. obviously,.. but our l

🤔Yeah,...its amazing that some guys still continue to argue/debate about a subject, that in reality, needs no arguing about...🙄 Regarding the F1 Collie x Greyhound hybrid,..an easy enough product

That's the dog using its head ability to make easy work. This bitch used to run up side of stone walls an fencing to bring the bunnies back onto the land. The deer hound side was out of David plates old strain. Deerhound grey x beddy grey. Then put to a collie cross bitch. Storm she was called. Best all round lurcher I've had. Trev said you won't be disappointed in the swap. That whippet ended up coming back home 4 miles lol. Was on my door step. Jumped a 6ft fence to come back home 😂😂. Said I'd gone out to feed her. Next min she was gone. Had to come out looking for her. Crossed a busy main road then walked 4 miles. I'd never even taken up that way near his either. So how the f**k can a dog find its way back like that. My brother was like f**k letting her go back clever f***ing dog. Lol. But a couldn't do that to Trev. A buzzed him and told him that bitch is her.

You haven't a clue you mate. Coursing bred dogs good breeding but f***ing lamping with them. Ffs.. Many on here are all round men do abit of everything with the lurchers. You've got some decent bred dogs an f***ing lamping with the c**ts. Don't get me wrong getting a pup hungry for it. Few outings but your lamping adult coursing bred dogs. Coursing Mc.

i wouldn’t lamp pups young i’ll start them all summer get things up a full year solid day they won’t see a lamp until gone 2 normally

what makes you think i don’t go day ? lol

pop with a dog and see if mine can run day remember a lamper now it’s wet they  won’t have the sharpness needed if only lamped lol

me you differ here mate you’ve never had a killer lol

i have to walk me dogs like last night no lamp red bitch had a 6 minute run in the dark we watched threw my thermal she missed it this is just local me dogs won’t just walk play there there in predator mode as soon as there on a lead mate lol

and then why not have an hour or 2 roadsiding etc ?

there’s a difference between a hunting dog and a pet you take out 2 a year mate they are wired up completely different lol

A friend is planning to breed a litter of collie hounds, now Im no expert and I dont keep lurchers any more but I was always of the understanding to put a collie dog over a greyhound bitch, now he was told the other way around greyhound dog collie bitch,so to all the collie Lurcher men opinions please.

Greyhound dog over the collie bitch

Donkey over a horse a mule

Horse over a donkey a hinny if I got it the right way around then it shows a difference

There's a difference in the breeding of dogs also. I prefer the greyhound over the bitch.
