borderboy 80
Took a nice walk in the sun today, with the hopes of photographing a few songbirds going about there business, but made a few errors and ended up only taking a few, most of which came out too dark... I also took a few flower pictures, which came out better... A daff in the house not sure, cherry blossom i think? Snow drops what do you think? YIS Borderboy... Dawn B 212
Well done. Try using the aperture priority mode for single subjects like the flowers. It will focus on the subject and blur the background making the flower be the centre of your viewing. you are really getting to grips with it now! I also use my 75-300mm lens for portraits and head shots etc.. its a better lens for that sort of stuff, here is an example. and also: Both taken on aperture priority.
