new lurcher 4 out 5

Recommended Posts

Just thought i would put a picture up,

my son wanted a picture up of himself on the internet,

i bought this bitch about 3 weeks ago she 3/4 greyhound 1/4 whippet,

she turning out to be a cracker,

she wont leave my side until she see her target, and after the chase she straight back to my side,

and she will retrive back to hand, shes also stock broke ,

there can be dogs running all around her and she wont leave my side, no need for a lead,

she wont even mess in her kennel area, only when i let her out,,

the only down side is shes very unfit, but that will come with time,

..

my son has start to show a intrested in field sports now, which is great where off out for a shine tonight.

i was told about 4,

her teeth are in good condition so i would say she around 4 or 5 years old, and i have no reason to doubt the guy i bought her from, shes got a bit of grey around her face but, she seems fine after a few nights lamping and not sore at all,

am hoping if she proves her self over the next year, i will be breeding from her, to keep a few pups back,

as what ive seen of her so far, am very impressed, and i would love to keep the blood from this bitch.

was going to say looks an older bitch , but dont let that stop you , keeping her in top condition and fitness up , there is no doubt to her working abilities :) .. good luck with her :) ....

thats why i want to breed this bitch to keep the blood and hopefully the offspring will have some of her qualities.

its just finding the right stud when the time is right.

well big smiles around, went out with my son tonight, we where out for 1 hour, it was a bit wet, and no wind at all,

and the dog did really well, am so pleased with her

4 out of 5, all good catches

my son was made up, he slipped the dog on all 5 slips, and really injoyed that, and he necked his first rabbit,

what more can you ask for a night lamping with your 9 year old son and a good sport with the dog

now just got to show him how the gut and skin them :toast:

spot on mate , fitness training here we go :) .... and for a dog thats unfit shes done well :) ... good to see the young one out :)

thats what i thought

ive done plenty of road walking with her the last 2 weeks and she had plenty of free running,

it must of paid off, if you could of seen her 3 weeks ago, you wouldnt of thought it was the same dog for fitness,

it shows if your willing to put the time into fitness you can turn things round in 3 weeks.

thanks

ok I will bite..

YOU DONT KNOW HER EXACT BRREDING OR AGE and have had her 5 mins and are contemplating breeding off her

I would be embarrassed to put pictures up if my dog caught four rabbits on the lamp..

Is IT ANY WONDER THERE IS SO MUCH SHITE BEING PASSED FROM PILLAR TO POST IN PEOPLES KENNELS AND FINDING PUPS WHEN RUBBISH LIKE THAT IS GETTING BRED FROM..

WHAT HAPPENED TO GETTING A DOG AND KEEPING IT TILL IT DIED AND BEING CONTENT WITH IT...JEEEEZZZZ

well if stiffy if you had a bit more time to read the post, 1,it was more of an outing for my son , he want to post a picture of him self with the dog because it was his first time out and, i was more then happy to put a picture up of him with the nights catch.

2, i was going to breed her to keep a FEW PUPS myself, and the rest would go to my close friends, as they would like a pup from this bitch,

so what the f**k has it got to do with you, you carry on showing your dogs

THE MAIN REASON FOR THIS POST WAS BECAUSE MY SON,

ive stated its a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 whippet, she 4/5,

AND if she proves her self i will be breeding from her, read the post dum arse.

cheers h/pool hunter
