Topped themselves after listening about his ailments !

If it were me I'd be looking out towards Basingstoke or Newbury, rent a room. Easy hour into London. Hope it works out for you.

As some of the lads have said theres no point going to Essex or Kent you might as well stay where you are the time it takes to get across London a better bet would be places like Reading,Farnborough even up towards High Wycombe all within an hour of West London i should think.....surprisingly cheap property along the M4/M40 there as well.

Don’t know where you are in Lancashire but some days you’d drive down nearly as quick as you’d drive from Essex/Kent to Acton…..Acton is a pure pain in the arse to get to from those places.

You would be better off taking a line back up the M1/A1 or M4 towards where you are now mate.

How about going to euston by train wilf from say kent as that's what I do I don't actually have to go into acton but in saying that if I do manage to get an extra day mid week with the boys it would be difficult to get them to school in the morning

To get from the south side of London to the west side of London is a pure epic anyway you do it mate.

Out the west side of London is your best bet, honestly.

Gnasher mentioned high Wycombe...I've spent a good few months over the last year working there...in your case Dodger there's a good few shooting estates around ...and the large Village of Beaconsfield next to high Wycombe is a lovely place ..although I expect it's pricey for property...

Tadley is set up for room rentals due to Aldermaston awe . It's also police and pikeys . Decent swimming pool and supermarket and a few smaller shops and takeaway.
