In all honesty , it feels like the whole of the UK is done for . I'd like to move abroad(even though ive never left the country before), but I know that only seeing my grandson once or twice a year , would absolutely kill me. My only real hope is to get as far away as I can , but still be within driving distance of the kids.

My old man has a narrowboat, he has a house but spends most of the time on the boat. He rents part of a farmers field and it's about an hour away from his house. There is only 4 boats there, 3 live a boards permanently and my dad's. He has parking for 2 cars and running water to each boat and a decent little plot of land. It's in the middle of no were and he only pays £25 A week rent, it's ideal ! No muzzies no migrants , no annoying neighbours. Wakes up the the sound of the ducks. Plenty of wildlife. Must admit I think if I retire or take early retirement it will be this. As I said before best of luck to your new venture DC atb.
