The top and bottom of it , is that they aren't just a bloke out with a dog , taking a rabbit for the pot . They're, thieves , vandals , and , violent thugs , that were happy to laugh at a terrified woman. Like I've already said . Most farmers are quite happy to have a bloke with a dog , taking a couple for the pot . He wouldn't call the police or make a big deal over it , and everyone could just go about their business, but idiots like in the video , just get everyone labelled as thugs , and bring a lot of problems for decent lads , that are doing no harm to anyone.
NEWKID 27,101 Posted Sunday at 09:27 Report Share Posted Sunday at 09:27 As we are all hunting hunting men your immediate reaction is to defend other hunting men, unfortunately the old school poacher is not the current type, "walk the land and leave no trace" was how many of us were taught... These lads don't give a f**k imo, if the video is real then they are acting like c**ts and bring it on top for everyone... It's nothing new though, lads like this fuel the fire that is already lit against us... I can't defend them, it's not my way of doing things and the blokes I'll walk out with wouldn't have them in their company either... 13
terryd 8,385 Posted Sunday at 09:29 Report Share Posted Sunday at 09:29 What Mel said if your going poach you have to be ideally not seen or leave any sign. Do zero damage and show respect around live stock. If you happen to get caught a quick sorry and on your way Storming around in bunch of 4x4s like idiots is just ridiculous and now proper lads will get ear full just walking a dog down a road in that area

You can dress it up all you want mate but the farmer rammed the vehicle first and came unstuck when he realised how many there was in the dark . thats just how it is , would you be saying the same if it was a kid out on the lamp and a van full of keepers flopped on him? some you win , some you loose . But when you go in swinging don’t whinge when you get it back .

Where are they all ? it’s a crock of shite about all this proper dog men acting accordingly . There’s people causing carnage and there’s people doing bits . The in between is few and far between . this behaviour is 100% the product of the ban . No one was acting like this until last 10 years . Land drivers in the past were nearly always bull x Crews up and down the A1 M1 in Subarus not many people roadside now cause it’s not worth the risk . When it became outlawed , only the outlaws can take part .
forest of dean redneck 11,536 Posted Sunday at 10:11 Report Share Posted Sunday at 10:11 Trouble is there’s 2 different sorts or was ? The old school who was either after something to eat or sell or the hare courser after the thrill of the chase . They would enter and leave that’s it . The second lot think it’s funny to set their dogs on anything , lamping hares isn’t sporting they just want pics of their dogs and stuff to boost their egos and prices of puppies . Then there’s the driving through fences hedges and gates ,leaving dead deer on the ground and theft of fuel / equipment and vehicles . No wonder the farmers get pissed off and like been said decide to exterminate the hare/rabbits /deer so no one wants to go after them on their land .

If you think that what they did was OK, then you really need to evaluate the way that you look at life stiff. A gang of keepers jumping a kid with a lamp , would be just as wrong .it would be cowardly and shameful, just like those thugs in the video. It's all irrelevant now , because nobody within ten miles of that farm will be able to go out for a shine , without the police jumping all over them. Idiots like that ruin things for everybody.

It's his property , end of. That farmland is his back garden, and his livelihood. What would you do if they had been churning up your garden , and wrecking your tools , so that you couldn't make a living next year ?. Would you just politely ask them to leave , and just say , oh well , it's just one of those things. I just can't understand how any decent and right thinking bloke , can think that what they did was OK.
