Lurchers and longdog Hybrids

Recommended Posts

I'm often asked the question as to what type of longdog did I use when breeding my three quarter whippet x greyhound longdog Hybrids.I always bred my dogs from a purebred coursing whippet named bow which was  a well balanced keen coursing whippet  who stood 21 inches to the withers  and weighted bang on 34 it's in body weight (Bow) due to the fact such a dog exceled  in the coursing field  he unfortunately  exceeded about the 20 inch coursing rules set down by the national whippet coursing club  so he therefore never  made the grade I suppose  however he was definitely no worldbeater at coursing brown hares but he gave me fantastic results and sport and would knock over the strongest hares in the coursing field  he did in fact retire a top proven coursing whippet  However in order to produce my best three quarter bred I used a son of (bows) named (Ace) a fantastic longdog  who stood 25 inces to the withers and was  47/50 iib in body weight  a n absolutely fantastic product  from such a great 👍 hybrid ace was a top bred longdog  and would claim a considerable  number of rabbits  for the larder on a dark dirty night.Ace would shadow  rabbits and furthermore  ark the beam of light in order of not breaking the beam of light for squatting rabbitsOften the tr this he mastered to a tee.IZn honsty  he was probably the best ever catch dog on the planet so to speak!often the whippet x greyhound longdog hybrid  is perfect at catching rabbits and the dogs bred from top bloodlines  of the hybrid  produce  red hot FEILD sports for the handler in charge.IN SPORTS  CARL WILLIAMS BOWLINE WHIPPET X GREYHOUND LONGDOG HYBRID SOUTH WALES.

I agree 3/4 whippets are the best rabbit dogs but the best ever on the planet has passed now, Shady, 3/4 whippet, 1/4 stag. Magoo has nothing on me, lol.

I write with regards  to the Suluk  x greyhound  longdog hybrid and their place in the coursing field  .a Darren Gallagher  a person I've known for a considerable time ons bred and subsequently   breeding program produced these sand greyhounds on an u commercial  breeding program. However  I don't think he actually breeds these longdogs anymore but back in the days  I'm told that he actually bred some crackers  and earned some credit for his participation  in breeding this absolutely 💯  beautiful  longdog/Hybrids.i once knew a person who used to import purebred Suluks and put them to well balanced  keen greyhounds that were more often than not coursing bred.Depite the fact such running dogs  were capable of taking strong winter hares in terms of regularity  and course their chosen quarry to a mere dot  no one person can argue the point  that Suluks and Suluk Hybrids are undoubtedly  the best breeding ingredients to use when coursing brown hares. It would be interesting  to hear about this longdog Hybrid .CARL WILLIAMS  RHONDDA VALLEY S SOUTH WALES.
