Bangersanmash 2,827
Well guys this poor fuckers just hit my birdroom window. Not many finch keepers like them but it's natural & nature at its finest when you see a sparrow hawk hunting. I don't mind them even though I am a finch keeper. Anyone in west Yorkshire area want it by all means. At least it's not died in vain. Am f***ing gutted. Tried everything to bring it back but shock of hitting the window. f****d my day up this now. A was just painting the kitchen when a seen it hit the birdroom window.
fireman 10,870
You can freeze it but just double wrap it in newspaper to stop freezer burn, when i had my birds i did protect my birds from all the things that can and do hassle them as there's the rest of the world for them to be in and not on or around my flights..Better that dead than your birds in my eyes mate...

Ano what your saying mate. But to see the poor c**t laid there on flags after hitting the window. A like all birds of prey. The skills an drive to hunt down the prey. A watched one come through garden few years back. I was sat on decking when it flew feets away from me after a black bird. The sparrow hawk hit the conifer line of my garden an fitted through this gap not even 6 inch by pulling its wings back its feet out Committing to this black bird. Lucky for the black bird it missed. But to see that close up was like a f***ing fighter jet. Lol
