mate thats a good camcorder full zoom them fields are huge there covering

Normal.lurchers suffer from low taper fade on strong uns had 1 recently knocked it over in the first minute but it rolled out then went on for couple more minutes then the fade kicked in

If you want a dog that settles in behind a hare for 5,6,7,8, minutes, and can do three out of three, that’s fine.
If you want a whizz banger that can do one in quick time or maybe even two, then that’s also fine.

I used to like the former, but due to now wanting to be on the land of off again quickly, I now prefer the latter.

“Horses for courses”, or “Hounds for grounds”, as they say.

Your dog….your choice !

The ideal dog would be a whizz banger coursing bred that can make short work of them but also hang in their against the best of hares.

Never ran any further down country but your spot on up here the hares know exactly where they want to go and it’s up to the dog to work them of that destination and be will to jump and hit cover this one of mine probably catch 2/3rd after they hit cover 

what I love the most is when he’s boxing it from a spot and it all most seems like there at a stand still then drops that gear and scoops up ….. in that moment there nothing else going on in the whole world other than that dog working that hare

Some certainly do look quick, but then you think is it a poor hare, as I said, I think it is hard to guage on video, you don't get the sense of speed that get watching it in real life. I do think our hares down here are better than the one's up the North East though. Lol
