No better feeling than bringing a dog on from a pup...giving them a spin at 10/11 month old and  watching it take it's first rabbit/fox/deer etc...no drug comes close Neck😔

A pic of a few dogs owned by London lads in the past. The white bitch was the litter sister to the great grand dam to lucky the dark destroyer i believe. The brindle bitch was a fx saluki greyhound.

I run probably the worst two lurchers in Essex lol saluki bull grey I posted a pick few pages back then got deerhound greyhound x collie greyhound  they do what keeps me happy

Sorry chaps, neither word is relevant to a friable loam, lol.

I get huge bags of soil conditioner from my local council depot. It’s garden and parks waste that is heated to a high degree and is completely sterile.

It has no nutritional value, but when added to raised beds, it make the soil more friable and promotes vigorous root growth .

I love this site ! Where else could you start talking about Londonon coursing and end up talking about friable loam ? LOL !

Cheers.

I wish I was ! Since getting into allotments and growing I’ve found soil isn’t just soil , Ph value, acidic, alkaline, limey , sandy , clay, and every vegetable needs a different type  !

Cheers.

Just reminding old chap, you know me,a stickler for a correct loam.

All this sort of talk reminds me of when I was in school, and I took 'rural science' as a subject, not 'gardening'.

Mr Hickman was our teacher, drummed into us the importance of a good, friable loam, especially for beets and tubers!!  😄 👍
