No better feeling than bringing a dog on from a pup...giving them a spin at 10/11 month old and  watching it take it's first rabbit/fox/deer etc...no drug comes close Neck😔

A pic of a few dogs owned by London lads in the past. The white bitch was the litter sister to the great grand dam to lucky the dark destroyer i believe. The brindle bitch was a fx saluki greyhound.

I run probably the worst two lurchers in Essex lol saluki bull grey I posted a pick few pages back then got deerhound greyhound x collie greyhound  they do what keeps me happy

Beautiful day here so had a walk with the dogs then to the allotment and planted 140 onion sets. Forecast to go cold again next week though.

Used to love going to allotment with my grandfather. His dog used to f**k off home our patch. Lol. My grandma used to shout him over back of houses. Memories. She was a grand dog could leave front gate open an she'd just sun it up near front door. Never walked on my grandads allotment or garden. Clever dog. She had abit of collie in her.

f***ing Facebook. What a load of shite. It's okay for people who's family don't live close to keep in contact. But then again you can just face time on phone can't you . So it's fully bollocks. Lol

My deer/grey bitch doesn’t step on any of the raised beds and completely ignores the poultry even though she takes pheasants. Just the way they are raised, I guess.

Cheers.

Honest she'd walk all the path ways. Old lads used to call her over. Malcolm good friend of my grandad used to be the allotment manger. He used to call her over an she'd go all the way around to sit near him on his seat. Sadly past away last year. But managed to get the allotments society to open back up the yard. Where you can buy seeds , bulbs compost and much more.

Do you have an allotment society trading hut near you chart's.

Yes mate, there’s an excellent one across the river but I’m the allotments treasurer and I’ve joined us up to the Budget Seeds allotment scheme. They are on line and are very cheap for anything you need for allotments and gardening and we have a discount code.

Once you get a few growing seasons under your belt you get more or less self sufficient in plants, compost, etc.

I know plenty of farmers and horse people so cow slurry, horse manure is free, a pal is a tree surgeon and he drops of loads of bark chippings for free.

Having an allotment should be a pleasure, not a cost ! LOL !

Or maybe I’m just tight  …..

Cheers.
