No better feeling than bringing a dog on from a pup...giving them a spin at 10/11 month old and  watching it take it's first rabbit/fox/deer etc...no drug comes close Neck😔

A pic of a few dogs owned by London lads in the past. The white bitch was the litter sister to the great grand dam to lucky the dark destroyer i believe. The brindle bitch was a fx saluki greyhound.

I run probably the worst two lurchers in Essex lol saluki bull grey I posted a pick few pages back then got deerhound greyhound x collie greyhound  they do what keeps me happy

It's called forcing it to grow in low light. The rhubarb is more pink instead of that green roarke shite no flavour other than bitter. Nice on its own boiled down with some custard or cream.

speed doesnt kill hares mate with a good saluki type  once they get there then they are on i prefer that saluki style a running on that open chalky land one runs like a whippet would be smashed to bits one run mate feet ruined

Speed does kill hares Mc . Average hares fold under intense pressure.  Good hares make a fast dog that won't settle and use its gears look stupid . A methodical runner,  run on nothing but fen land wouldn't suit coming up to Scotland back in the day . Fact

Exactly.  I think knowing it's in there . But it's not blairingly obviously.  Is the way . Unless your matching on fens week in week out . On the flip side . Could out and out fen dogs be really successful week in week out on big fields and a bit hedge land . Now before mchull jumps on me . I mean an animal that's only run fen for first 2 seasons.  ?

It's only my take on it mate and I think without doubt the saluki hybrid lurchers are the kings of single handed hare killing dogs though years ago i have seen plenty of other lurchers with no saluki in them being consistent hare catching dogs though admittedly not on big fens or Salisbury plains.

Never been in trouble in his life. Made a mess of him going to Jail. That's when jails were slop outs 5 to a cell. Killed him off. A man with self respect turned to being locked up. The cleaners had 4 to 5 to a cell. The normal cells 3 to a cell now 2 to a cell unless you get put on basic.  The cleaners had the end cells on each landing which are abit bigger. My uncle was a cleaner on the wing in Armley.
