@Golyhe says the dogs were better a decade before blondie foxy dancer ect but weren't they dogs the start of the line mongrelly Lurchers put to saluki/ Salukis Lurchers yet the mongrelly lurchers are deemed not royalty enough these days. 
 

and as you say those dogs won the forley they had to win there own clubs competitions first then qualify for the forley like a champions league format

Paz Paz told me to ignore the coursing breds as they break apart like a biscuit in a cuppa tea, he said the best bet is to find the gamest, fastest dog of mixed lurcher type and breed it to a pure saluki.

So what is your bitch fast ? Slow ? Ain't got a great mouth ?  Or is it only world beater dogs that kill 6 mins and yours is doing it regularly ?

So we're all these top  dogs past and present all having to kill the best hares constantly for around 6 mins ?  
 

even back when they was probably weren't even recording the time add in the factor of the lies that come out the mouths of coursing men those 6 min runs would turn into 15 mins

shes got good speed mate she would a got to that one pulling lucas about but maybe wouldnt be as fast as him he was powerfully 

i’ve ain’t had camcorder long few week the one she went 4 off on me white dog missed his 3rd on there yesterday was all over it i put other 2 runs on soon 

know last 10 i’d say one 5 odd one 4 odd few close to 4 few 2 and a few under a min

I think mC is saying the best dogs won't be catching the best hares in one or two minutes. I'm not sure I necessarily agree with him but it's impossible to guage, some men claim that it shouldn't take 3 mins for the best dogs to make the kill. Lol

no but the best will go that mate to kill them both me dogs killed after 6 mins on couple of occasions

lol mate jan feb your going out running 3-4 your going 4 mins plus every week if your killing them all and it’s seed believe me
