Had a dog direct out of beast to a full greyhound.  Handy dog good wind as you'd expect out of beast . Built like a tank . But feet couldn't cope with his muscle mass. Lovely dog around the place too

The bitch i owned out of him her feet could have been better though she did run on some rough ground and was very determined a few said I should have bred off her though the only dog I would have contemplated putting over here would have been a pure saluki her litter sister that threw feathered and more to the saluki had a lot better feet and not has muscley as her.

No better feeling than bringing a dog on from a pup...giving them a spin at 10/11 month old and  watching it take it's first rabbit/fox/deer etc...no drug comes close Neck😔

A pic of a few dogs owned by London lads in the past. The white bitch was the litter sister to the great grand dam to lucky the dark destroyer i believe. The brindle bitch was a fx saluki greyhound.

Mate my Wheaton x bitch is 27 tts and 80/90 lb fighting weight...had her out ferreting from first jabs with longnets etc, around the harris/gos hawks, she's done everything you would use a whippet/smal

saluki feathered feet are the best by a country mile mate i’d take it every time just absolutely no hassle normally

but people including bangers scrub rub  clean hard around nails that’s a no no for me causes nothing but issues

I had bred down from the Caithness dogs from T McPhee

I went lamping with him up there in the 1980's,he sold a few dogs to England and Wales, the best he had was a pitch called Ruby.

When you say it had good wind how many mins would you say it had in the tank ? It’s just i wouldn’t think anything out of a pure grey would have good wind, and I’ve seen a few run out of pure greys in the Kenny hall club and they would burn out after about 2 and a half mins, I’ve just got a new dog that is quarter pure grey and already a bit worried about how much wind it will have

Fens . He had a sister and him could go near 4 minutes.  His other sister was a little 23" thing useless for first 2 seasons then came good . Only had near 3 mins in tank . She was put to floyd . I had the bandit out that and he had plenty steam . At a quarter I wouldn't worry too much . Especially if they're out enough and tough . Learning to run slow when needed. Had an old bitch out of tor o dartmoors son to a proper coursing grey had some stamina.  Never seen it puff

That’s what you want a fast dog that can run slow when needed and also close the gap then steady up to control rather than over shooting, the dog I got is out of the brother to Mchull white dog out of Romeo x Cindy Nero then put to a bitch out of a greyhound to a buddy x tweed dog, tweed being out of snowy x Caulfield’s Joe, very well bred but got that quarter pure grey. Saying that Caulfield’s Joe was quarter pure grey and he was a very good dog and could stick on
