Trev70 picked me up when my pup out of Twisters was just over 5 months old with some droppers. Rang me up after he'd been ferreting. Went on some land. It's more about the pup using its mouth not being shy at killing straight away. You'll find alot of dogs if not shown owt at a young age will just push them won't strike. If the dog gets used to just driving them not striking when you know dam well the dog could have finished it. Then the hare manages to get down a hole or brushes dog off in cover. Now with what's going on with preying eyes about you don't want to be on the land for long if you can help it. On an off get the runs. Trev even said that dog doesn't need to see owt now till back end of summer.

Sounds ideal

No better feeling than bringing a dog on from a pup...giving them a spin at 10/11 month old and  watching it take it's first rabbit/fox/deer etc...no drug comes close Neck😔

A pic of a few dogs owned by London lads in the past. The white bitch was the litter sister to the great grand dam to lucky the dark destroyer i believe. The brindle bitch was a fx saluki greyhound.

I run probably the worst two lurchers in Essex lol saluki bull grey I posted a pick few pages back then got deerhound greyhound x collie greyhound  they do what keeps me happy

It's a saluki x mate. At 5 months old around a warren running about with all obstacles it's a no no. Dog ends up f****d up. Broken leg or even worse broken neck. Many have no brains. Lol. Not like your average lurcher that has a brain.

Mate come on, pups can and do catch rabbits at 6, 7 month old. A saluki cross is no different mate, bring them on right and they will do the job.

Your trying to tell someone how to drink milk. Trev70 has had some great dogs around back in the day. Many out there do it droppers. An many will lie an say they haven't.  Your just going of social media yet again. Dick heads putting videos up. Think there clever showing dog run them on youtube an that tiktok shite.. Were not there to pop videos up. Were there to see how the pup use its month an that prey drive. Around a warren if the rabbits keep bolting too the holes for a young 5 month old pup what's that guna do to the pup. ? It's guna think f**k this get bored an knock it's confidence. Some it may not but many it will. I've seen it on lamp over the year young dogs just put the breaks on. That's just normal lurchers. Because lads haven't showed them anything from a young age.
