Wasn’t Indiana Jones from Carlisle the sire or grand sire ?
Could be wrong but something from the back of my mind.

Cheers.

Film I watched must have been dubbed, Harrison Ford doesn't sound Cumbrian to me.

No better feeling than bringing a dog on from a pup...giving them a spin at 10/11 month old and  watching it take it's first rabbit/fox/deer etc...no drug comes close Neck😔

A pic of a few dogs owned by London lads in the past. The white bitch was the litter sister to the great grand dam to lucky the dark destroyer i believe. The brindle bitch was a fx saluki greyhound.

Mate my Wheaton x bitch is 27 tts and 80/90 lb fighting weight...had her out ferreting from first jabs with longnets etc, around the harris/gos hawks, she's done everything you would use a whippet/smal

To be fair a mate had a pure whippet years ago had just over a min and half in the tank the little dog killed loads of  hares in the small fields

Seen a few decent lurchers with whippet in them my last decent hare catching lurcher had whippet in her that came by way of the Caithness dogs small stamina packed whippet types from Tommy McPhee that had very good recovery rate a lot better than a fx saluki greyhound i owned that was a tall rangey dog.
