If you want a whizz banger that can do one in quick time or maybe even two, then that’s also fine. I used to like the former, but due to now wanting to be on the land of off again quickly, I now prefer the latter. “Horses for courses”, or “Hounds for grounds”, as they say. Your dog….your choice ! Cheers. It's cheating though using a non native distance runner to catch a native sprinting animal, iv'e alway been more impressed by a normal regular lurcher taking a few over a season than these coursing line bred cheats killing dozens each week,lol.. 3 1 Quote Link to post

I do think our hares down here are better than the one's up the North East though. Lol I’ve had dogs that were straight lined by hares all over the UK and Ireland ! LOL ! What age is your dog ? You mostly running down the borders ? Quote Link to post

I can’t be doing with it mate a both lurchers iv had that was half coursing dog was same. I wouldn’t take chance again haha when the few iv had that didn’t have coursing dog in were brand new in every way other than they couldn’t run hares like a coursing bred if I ask myself what’s more important, having as little stress as possible withy he dog or a couple extra scabby hares, then it’s same answer everytime. Keep your hares haha 1 1 Quote Link to post
