How many did you take back home for pot. I can say all that I killed i took home with me. I'm not into just killing something to throw at road side. It's lost its life for my enjoyment so at least I can make it be worth it by making a meal of it. Not many people like hare. But put in slow cooker night before on low heat till tea time next day. With some other game like venison , pheasant loads of chopped veg can't beat it. Mouths watering now. Lol

Some times it's best to go back without dogs. Depending on where you are an how far your travelling. When I used to mooch local I'd just spot them up in tree line. Knowing the area. Get back in motor an drive round.

When you've not got permission an out till early hours in morning like I used too be walking some decent distance you can't carry all game. It's okay if your in a motor with permission an driving farm to farm. Pulling up jumping out day or night. But driving about early hours with game in motor. An if law pulls you takes your details. You come up with some story about having permission. The c**ts only going to collar farmer. Then a visit at your door. So better off with no motors. How many pop up on google with motors pulled over or even left on the land.

Doesn't matter if it's 1 hare or 4 hares you get caught with any in motor with the dogs in your f****d. You'd most probably get more of a slap on wrist for the deer. The way the c**ts are going on today about coursing .
