Talking to an old mate last night at the pub, he's now breeding labs and is now in to trials, he's won a few. He sold one of his bitches for 30k and been offered 40k for another bitch but turned the offer down. He's done well with them, a working class poacher mixing with the toffs. Lol

My grandfathers brother bred shelties back in 60s. Had a stunning blue Merle. Got offered big money for it. Turned the money down. Week after dog was dead. Jumped the stable gate that was half open at the top. Was laid in the run at the front. When they took him to vet he had internal bleeding. Caught his chest an stomach on door. Sods law.

Had all the DVDs that came out from robin . A few gifted by him. i ran first huge slip 3 mins to get to other side a field then see her on bambi back 

then i get one 100yds off cover didn’t pass it up missed that in said cover lol 3rd waking to one another lifts spec 3 mins don’t know if she got to it then on bambi but she don’t do out with them 4 th run get one 80yd slip runs it lovely rolls it infront of us this nearly 6 year old bitch mate now if i picked runs kick ups it be different.

Aye, you can only run what's in front of you, but if they are in the same area chances are the hares are of the same quality or there abouts, but it doesn't mean much anyway. But I'd be asking him to put your white dog over his bitch at some point. Would your bloodline click with his?

But many in the know still claim long slips are no different to kick ups, that's a load of bollocks, the hares might not always kick on until they close down but the dog still has to cover the ground and make up for the 100yd it's giving way.
