Bad if there is a touch of frost on it aswell mate. My mates mother had a caravan on the holiday camp at Reighton Gap and we used to walk along the cliff tops then make our way inland to run the dogs also remember a pub with the name of a wading bird but can't recall what they called it.

I used to use potassium permanganate crystals in a bowl of warm water though you can't get hold of them now. Sorry for jinxing you pal it's a feker when the grounds like bell metal and you have dogs that want running. We used to go up on the moors near Sheffield when the ground was like that and give them a spin on the white hares as it was all heather and grass and it didn't bust their feet up.

I didn't know that mate. I know when I was hod carrying and my hands were sore with handling bricks and gobo my hands felt better when I'd done the dogs feet in it though it did stain them a bit.
