Thought I would put a pic up of the latest purchase , just got to get a pump and zero the scope in .

I bought the gun secondhand , bought a new second mag , vector Veyron 3-12x44 ffp scope online and a weihrauch XLK silencer from nearby shop.Cant wait to get it out in the field .

This version of the Dreamline was called the Streamline which I had and a lovely gun it was just do not know why FX changed the name. I am sure you will enjoy that.

Sorry DC never seen the reply from zeroing the scope I found it easy to use with the side lever , and easy to zero in , the mags are bit fiddly to reload I wouldn’t want to do it in a field on a cold winters day with my arthritic fingers but I have 2 mags so that’s 36 shots probably way more than I need .

I took it out night time ratting on my work supervisors  permission and it wasn’t a burden to carry but I didn’t get to fire a shot as every time I turned the torch on the rats ran . So got to get night vision add on when I ordered the scope I thought it was illuminated but I was wrong lol . 
it is very quiet with that moderator on im glad I bought that one .

Thanks I can’t take credit really as I had a Google and the scope and moderator were popular choices and had great reviews . After Christmas I will start looking for some daytime permission for rats n squirrels and get night vision for it.

With all the high tech night vision, some of which I have tried / bought and sold, the two I will not part with are my Viper and Wolf 'NiteSite'  being able to skan the area for rats is so much easier with the old TV style units, in fact there is a modern day version of this type of nv on ebay for about £150, one of the lads on here has one but I cant remember who.

This is it I think although it looks like the price has gone up a bit.

As said before, try one if you can. The 'near eye' type is good for the rabbits while laid out in wait but I found when constantly scanning farm buildings etc for rats and feral pigeons they are a pain in the arse, far far easier to hold the gun on the hip or tripod and using two eyes scan the area and the bonus is at hip height, no flare back to your face from the screen, oh yes, you will get flare with near eye as well.  I take far more shots at hip height with the nv than at eye level and far more stable than you might think but you can't do this on a 'near eye' nv.  Try one...............

I got this one and theyr spot on, good clear vision on screen, simple to put on and take off the scope in a few seconds

Yes, I remembered later it was you that bought one BN ,pleased to hear it does the job because it looks really nice. I have come to the conclusion that near eye NV is simply not for me, I by far prefer to have both eyes open and the bonus is that I don't fall over or lose my balance which did happen on a couple of occassions with near eye systems Or you can't see anything with the intensity of having a bright image in your eye on a dark night but my buddy has no issues at all so it must be me........................... old tart.

The rats Will not no what hit them or where the pellets are coming From 

Like the XL silencer 

But unfortunately my mate John the RFD don't stock them so I'll have to look else where for one want one for the HW 100

I was shocked as didn’t know the law had changed and they are classed as gun parts ? And you  have to either get them sent to local gun shop or go buy them in person . There had been a run on them so I drove about 40 mile round trip for it lol .
