Borr 5,958
It's incredible what they produce stuff for, I bought some bits mostly soft plastics , I'm not gonna use temu any longer as I do enjoy going in a tackle shop . I do think it makes it affordable for a lot of people especially with all the new trends and techniques being touted on YouTube etc. there's some good quality British stuff being made but certainly not at temu prices. Hardy stuff now is made over in China. My pal went to buy a hardy rod from a place called fly only. When he looked at the tag. It said made in China. 750 quid rod. Made over there for about 30 quid. Lol. Edited October 28 by Bangersanmash Quote Link to post

Borr 5,958
I believe hardy make some lines in England and others in a state of the art factory in Korea. Not china . It matters not we all know china probably do produce most of the worlds products. But if I can purchase something British at a reasonable cost then I'll be doing that. It won't be soft plastics cause I got enough of the bloody things to see me out lol. 1 Quote Link to post

A buy alot of korda think there based down south. Harrison's too that's another company that makes rods in the uk. My old mans got a few of there rods. Liverpool based. But the rod my pal had in his hand at fly only the Hardy rod said made in China. I was with him that day. He had bought the hardy angel reel. And ordered this rod. And when it came he was looking at the rod. And when he noticed that. A thought he was going to turn the shop apart lol. 1 Quote Link to post
