Great little box

Just received this little box with some not so bad bits in for spinning,  lure  fishing. 290 bits. Hooks , drop shots , some other gadgets too. Bought it for my lad. But may get one for myself too.

Since March, this year, I've ordered 96 items from temu!!  Lol.

90% of it being fishing tackle, for my 16 year old lad, two rods, 3 reels, dozens of spinners, lures, soft baits, braid, shot etc etc.

Kept him happy over the spring and summer.

I've spent about 100 quid on two rods & reels then loads of lures , soft baits loads of traces 20 batches long , medium , small. No doubt if bought online from a tackle shop. There'd be easy at least 250 quids worth of gear.

On the back of this box it mentions cancer. Don't know if that's to do with the soft baits or the shot that's in the box. The soft baits have like a oily feel to them. Strange how they've put that warning logo on the back of the box.

Probably in regard to the lead on jig heads, carcinogenic. The other stuff is to stop the soft lures sticking together.

Yeah very easy to rack up the pounds spent with temu!!  Lol.

But like @Borr mentioned in another post, I still prefer going to a tackle shop and handling rods,  reels, getting a feel of them for balance etc, see if it suits before you buy.

I know that temu is very budget friendly, so it almost doesn't matter if a few items aren't exactly what you wanted, but it's still better to get hands on before you buy. .............. he says, while waiting for another three items he ordered from temu Thursday night!!!  Lol

I've got some squid lures for off pier at whitby come back end of December early Jan hit near sea life centre at Scarborough. Look decent too.

These arrived yesterday little toppers. Going to give them a bash off pier too see if owt comes up for them. Knowing my luck be a f***ing tuna. Lol

This tub was full of soft baits think it was about 3 quid. My nephew keeps pestering me. With him living next door. Nightmare over fence broom handle on back door every evening after school. Can you tigh this for please. Where's them traces gone " or I've lost them " lol. Good job a bought loads of cheap gear. Went with me yesterday spent more time hitting trees at the back of him than water . Am saying cast from the side why why.  Ffs.  When we going again. Never lol
