philpot 4,967
I have had similar thoughts a while ago when my rfd brought in a pair. I had a play with one in the range, extremely accurate on the 25mt range with one hole groups. Just as the impact was so different when it came out, so is the AGT, it has it's own feel. I did not buy one as it could not afford it, would I buy one if I could afford it.........well that is the question, I don't know, having had the impact and loved it, I think I may stay with FX because having had several FX fac guns, I have no reason to move away from them and if I were buying either of them as a sub 12, I would not spend so much on a sub 12 when there are plenty of models out there that would suit me and retain some cash in the bank. I am not certain if you can get a sound mod because even at sub 12 they were very loud but they have a big diameter shroud which does not reduce the sound level and it would look very weird with a normal mod on a 2'' dia shroud. forest of dean redneck 11,534
I had heard they are loud they say the long version is bit quieter , I did consider the hw100 in walnut I know it’s heavier but can be quiet . Quote Link to post

I think the AGT is heavier than the hw100 depending which model. There is also the hw110 which is just as accurate as the hw100 but much lighter, I had two hw110 in both .22 and .177, wish I had not sold them. My buddy has just bought an FX DRS in .177 with a .22 on order, very light a very accurate, I am hoping he may sell me one of his hw110 guns at the right price. To give you an idea of the hw110, I popped on a nightsite onto my old .177 , laid out 5 used shotgun cases on their sides so we were looking at the underside of shell, my wife who has never had a shot with the nv on, shot each cartridge bang on the primer at 25mt. I confess I was both impressed with her and the gun, I do have a photo somewhere of 'Annie Oakley's' handy work. Phil 1 Quote Link to post
forest of dean redneck 11,534
Typically I went browsing on guntrader and after missing out on one vixen and no rely on another I went and bought a second hand fx dreamline classic in .22 lol I was only going on what I had read but thought the vixen was lot lighter than the hw and that the 100 was better than the 110 ? 1 Quote Link to post
