BRIC is a term like DACH it refers to separate countries who in this case all have different currencies. How the hell can they base a crypto on 4 currencies, which all have different valuations? And how is that gonna be able to compete against the dollar?

Because all there currencies are going to be on par not one worth more than the other hence why there going to be backed by gold silver and precious metals .... the crypto will be a xrp Mastercard for transactions

My take on it is that it’s all about world wide electronic currency transfers.

SWIFT is the recognised method of countries making electronic transfers,

When Russia invaded Ukraine , one of the sanctions applied to them was to remove them from the SWIFT system. This made it harder for Russia to buy and sell on the world market.
BRICS, ( Brazil, Russia, India , China), has existed as a trading block since 2009 and since Russia was banned from SWIFT, they decided to set up an electronic money transfer system of their own. All the other members of BRICS, apart from Russia are still members of SWIFT. The new BRICS system will allow Russia to transfer money between BRICS members more efficiently.
It won’t make one iota of difference to our lives  and it certainly won’t herald the end of the US Dollar, the international banking system or the end of capitalism!

It means Russia will be able to send and receive funds for things it buys and sells to the other BRICS members easier and quicker than it does now.
Cheers.

Exactly Charts.

Fuucking grouping currencies on par with an eye on taking on the dollar  Ever heard of the Euro? Now, do you really think that Brazil, Russia, India and China (the last two of which are nearly at war with each other) are gonna go for that? are they bollocks. It’s a way for them to continue internal block trade without using SWIFT or forex trading currency reserves to dollars. Basically the other 3 become middlemen for Russia to still purchase on the international markets.
