lyndzeep94 0
Hi everyone! I’ve scoured the internet, reached out to AYA, the company that imported the gun, and picked the brains of multiple gun lovers. I can not find a model for my shotgun. What I do know, AYA double barrel (sxs), box lock, 12 gauge. I will attach some photos as well. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I love this shotgun, I’d just like to know what exactly it is! The company that imported the gun (Simpson LTD) told me today that this gun was imported under their old FFL, so they don’t have access to any of its records. I emailed AYA and have not got a response yet. Quote Link to post
FLATTOP 4,414
It’s definitely not an AYA No4 as I have one and it looks different to the model I have. Possibly a Yeoman the older types but I’m sure somebody with more knowledge on here will know what it is. Heres a couple of pics of the No 4 and a useful video good luck finding out about it there a well balanced reliable gun although admittedly I don’t use mine much, I prefer my rifle. comanche 2,954
Def not a no4 , they are ejectors. Or a no 3 . Nor a Yeoman. With the side scallops on the action and cross bolt It actually looks more like one of the generic sbs still being knocked out by lesser Spanish makes well after AYA had gone for more modern designs . Maybe an early Aya that's been cleaned up well ? The knocks and screw in the stock show it's seen a bit of life .The proof Mark's look old and should help date it . That that might not help indicated a model name though . Old guns were often sold without model names just as AYAs or BSAs etc 1 Quote Link to post
comanche 2,954
Possibly not as old as l thought. The action looks like an AYA model 107 . Though l don't know if they made a straight stock version. Hope this helps a bit. Edited October 10 by comanche Quote Link to post
