Hi VFR. Long time. You must think that was what seemed like an age ago. Clearly modern bikes have improved dramatically and handling so much better. (Mine was the original carb version). I remember getting in a spat, leaving Silverstone, with a geezer on a Busa. Mate he gave up I kid you not. In the day they were awesome. Jok.

My vfr is a 1999 so not new

not a biker but think 600cc  Suzuki  bandit  , as very good write up, fast, reliable  rides well etc, think it came 4 times bike of the year back then. i read all this waiting for my car winter service , picked up a good bike mag , good read.

That's what I've got.

Good fun to ride.

My Mrs bought it me for my birthday 20 yrs ago.

Smashing job.

Horses for courses, all I need is a gentle, easy to ride bike that I can pick up if I drop it, good on fuel and easy to maintain. It's a 2023 bike with modern touches but still needs feeler gauges for the tappets every 6000 miles. When the warranty is up I'll do it all myself. I rarely go on motorways even with the car so the Enfield will be a good tool for B roads and lanes where I live and wild camping on the Quantocks or Exmoor.

I’ve had a lot of bikes over the years I was a courier for 15 year before I started playing with trains if I had something like this I’d give myself a week tops but my god what a great way to die, turn your speakers up.

That’s the thing I like the power to much😂my mates son does them fastest wheelie competitions I think he’s ranked 6th in the world.

Parked my bandit in the front of  a Toyota Yaris a nun was driving when she pulled out in front of me, she managed to right off my mate and his bandit at the same time. 2 for the price of one. Lol.
