Seen a few salmon, trout and eels at Pitlochry…, no sturgeons or otters yet! I went to the pitlochry window twice as a kid,magical place back then,the window has been closed for a number of years nowadays,salmon running upstream and jumping rapids or man made fish ladders are one of nature's great migration spectacles. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Caught my first pike in loch faskally and watched my old man catch a salmon just down from the fish ladder on the Tummel. Saw my only peregrine perched on the dam side one day with my cousin, must have been about 12. Used to love the place,never been since my mam and dad died. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
