shaaark 10,880
Done mine a couple of weeks back, and planted loads of crocus, dwarf iris, hyacinths etc, plus planted up a few window boxes, which I'll try to put a few pics up of when they start flowering.

A few bulbs is a good shout , I own the back wife has front and two allotments, I just keep it as a play area for kids but some bulbs down the bottom would survive maybe crocus and snowdrops ...not a fan of daffs no offence

Yeah I prefer the bulbs/corms rather than seeds. Only got about 30 mini daffs, came with my order of hyacinths and a couple of others in a collection.
eastcoast 4,163
My retired next door neighbour cuts mine. Which is nice. But the trade off is I have to put right all his bodged DIY projects 1

leegreen 2,181
Grass can still grow at 5 degrees. I'll be cutting some of mine for a good while yet, weather permitting. I've got 6 dogs leaving landmines about the place, need to see where they are
