Is there any need for mods at this time? There doesn’t appear to be any discussion about anything. No banter, no arguments, no rude comments. When I joined we were buying and selling all sorts of hunting equipment, me, Jok boxes among other things. Has the hunting scene really deteriorated so much? I, like many, looked forward to opening the forum to really enjoy the camaraderie and get involved in meaningful conversations. I’ve met loads of guys who have inevitably ended up at my house collecting, who I’ve enjoyed company with even ending up on days out coursing, ferreting, driven days, stalking and foreshore shooting to mention but a few. One gentleman who reads this will remember coming to mine to collect a beautiful lurcher bitch and ended up going home with a lovely dinner. What do we do to get the interest back into the forum? Jok.

Hunting will start soon Jok I'll still be at it. The Fishing Comp is a great place to meet up with some really nice guys and by christ do we have some banter there Lol.

I think a lot have given up on the ferreting mate I don't know what its like every where else but here going to be a lean year I think with RHD and Mixie about. But I will see go out I love it mate. The hunting is slowly dying not just because the law but Keepers and people with night vision etc are shooting the shit out of the foxes. On one of my perm's I had all my life I love to stand on the hill listening and watching the hounds singing down through the valley but the took out over 50 foxes at night around here  ,no point in have a meet there now.

Things are changing Jok no youngsters starting up the game around me just old boys doing it. In my town every body that ferrets was in the same class at school 60 years ago lol. Few interested in foraging which I like as well.

Cheers Arry

Make big feet/greb the site president, he knows everything about everything and should have folk flocking to the site just for a few crumbs of his endless wisdom lol

Great idea, I'd set up a poll on whether folk believe in UK big cats and await your inevitable meltdown, it would bring in more viewers than the EastEnders Christmas special. 😁

Odd that Arry. Was having a conversation in the pub the other day when someone asked if any of us knew anyone, other than ourselves, who had ferrets. No surprise because we didn’t know of any. Further into the conversation it was asked when anyone had seen a rabbit, dead or alive , by the roadside. In our area there are more dead muntjac ffs.jok.

Encourage your offspring to leave the computer alone and make the effort to show them what you did before the world went mad we are all to blame and all have a responsibility to educate, just back from a nice walk with my 5 yo grandson

Been down that road. Started great with the spaniel hoovering about and little lad chasing him. Showed him the hazelnut trees, the blackberries and a few fungi. Long story short, my legs gave up and the wee fella wanted a carry back to the car. Need to rethink the strategy. Jok.
