Shortstraw 476
Not been on here much last 2-3 years after my springer x lurcher passed. She got a pellet or something in her lung when we were out and died due to a collapsed lung at the vets. It impacted me quite badly to point of not even walking for more than 30 minutes in the woods when out with my other old little lurcher….(for the last 2 plus years). Anyway, my catapult is helping me get back out in the woods for longer periods which is a great thing. I’ve even thought about getting another mooching dog in next year or two. So I’m back on here to ask which bands you are shooting/recommend. I’m only shooting light weight bands .5 or .6, and it’s mainly just for fun shooting at the minute to get my eye in etc. Ive tried quite a few bands in the past but can’t quite remember my preference. Thanks
fred90 3,213
I only shoot a lighter setup due to arthritis, I have wrists like Larry grayson, I find. .65 and 9.5mm steel is up to the job for hunting or anything else, I like precise, silinxiate, jinpu, sumeike all are good.

I’m same, suffer with fibromyalgia. Where do you buy from these days? Was looking for Celtic catty, but no sign of the website.

Ben banham on ebay, not the cheapest but good choice, just had some from Billy fowler also in ebay a lot cheaper and good quality
tatsblisters 9,620
I know the feeling not having a dog mate though most Saturdays I go up to the daughters and take her springer out for a mooch about. Theirs a lad on Ebay does decent bands i mainly use the .72 GZK.
Shortstraw 476
Ended up buying some green gkz 6.2. Need to check what size my ammo is, think it’s about 8mm steel which is weird as I’ve never ordered 8mm, think I’ve only ever ordered 9.5mm and 6mm. I think I cut them about 18-13mm.
