the new hilux is ok the only problem is when it gets off road the only problem is the front wheels flick shit up that sits on the under skirt which is attached to the bumper bottom then all of a sudden bang off drops the bumper ok for the wife to take the kids to school but for off road work utter shit the navara is the way forward i have had all three (mitsi, toyota, navara)all new style for work and its the navara every time

I had a Hilux Vigo, nice motor I'd go for the UK spec models brought out in 07 though if you were going to splash out... they added the 3.0 D4D landcruiser engines in them, but the uprated 2.5 D4D engines are available from then on too.... The imports already have the newer engines from 05/06... You can get wheel arch covers to stop any mud and shite getting into the arch's try ebay...

If I went for another pickup, definitely be the 3.0 D4D Hilux ..

the new navara is the best double cab 4x4 on the road or off road mate

ive had all 3 like the guy above and the nav wins in every department , better driver , better engine more room and more for your money

plus the hilux has a problem with driveshafts and toyota cant keep up with demand
