Moochersways 83
So....just after a few opinions, my lurcher injured his carpal pad around 3 months back it was pretty much hanging off, vet wrapped and purple sprayed for around a month and lead walks for 2 months, all good now and healed up, but anyone had this happen then had it go again? Will it be a weak point in the future? Should I just now wrap it everytime he runs as precaution? Cheers in advance Quote Link to post

Smashing reds 479
Happened to a mate of mines dog, would heal and the same thing would happen again, Happened one day when we were out and when he got home he cut it off, cleaned it and wrapped it.....3 or 4 weeks later it was fully healed and that was the end of the problem 2 Quote Link to post

Cheers in advance I had mines stitched she split several times , my advice is to buy loads of vetwrap , and wrap everytime you go out , I'd often wrap both wrists , it takes at least 10months for scar tissue to produce enough collagen to gain elasticity back my bitch runs without problems now but it was a long road. 1 Quote Link to post
