i think i would have chosen a twin wheel chassis going to be a lot of weight on that

Remember to put plenty of ventilation in it wilf especially the roof, condensation can be a bastrud in that type of building.

It’s going to actually stand on block pillars mate, the wheels are really just camouflage for any nosey Parker’s……it can technically be moved…..well, you know the score

I would still go for a double axle chassis in case you did ever need to move it  moving that would be a nightmare it’s not going to be balanced like a caravan and it’s going to be heavy just a thought wilf

Brilliant you are doing that for your daughter mate and as daughters and their boyfriends go just glad mine are now both settled and in happy relationships tf and I get the piss took out of me to this day when I used to get on their case but they know I was right.

If you're going with 100mm studs go slightly thinner on insulation if you're using something solid like cellotex or kingspan so as to leave an airgap mate.25mm gap should be adequate.

We follow that Kiwi chap off youtube who does tiny houses, its a big thing over there and is building momentum across the world. Its amazing to see how the space is utilised, good luck and looking forward to the updates.

Fair play wilf love little projects like this gives a good sense of achievement once finished looking forward to seeing the progress. If I was ever a single man again id not have a conventional home it’s a con job with rents or mortgage prices I’d probably live on the roads or buy a boat. I see a lot of young couples were there relationships have gone south it all stems back to lack of money due to having all there money tied up in paying mortgages or over priced rents that they can’t do anything bar sit in there 4 walls

similar to my summer hose i done wilf 3x3 from  what i had left from dog run shed all wired up me pal come connected it to the mains 

im only in a 3 so my oldest be out there soon lol whether she likes it or not lol

Think it’s a generation thing mate hate sounding like that old git, but modern man has been completely dumbed down and slightly feminised, used to call mine the peacock as all he cared about was what he looked like and others perceptions of him, even put him up in my house after they split up for the kids sake, evicted this week never even cut the grass in 18months, there’s a rising trend in younger girls and more mature men according to my girls as they know how to look after them, ???
