Tiny House Build

Recommended Posts

Not sure if your going to "move it about" but mind the weight if you are going to move it about as looking at the woodwork your going to be loads heavier than what that chassis was meant to move about Wilf, i'm in the middle of a horsebox lorry conversion and although it's a lorry it's a 5 1/2 tonner so as such i've still got to be a tad careful with weight that i'm adding. Just thought i'd mention it and good luck with the build...

Yeah, duly noted mate.

The only time that’s getting moved is to go on the back of a lorry if she ever sells it…..the lorry will back up to the concrete and it will move about 10m

I know well that original chassis isn’t upto moving it about, it’s just camouflage really so that it’s not a “permanent structure” if any nosey Parker’s come calling.

If you're looking for a durable and lightweight roofing option, zinc roofing sheets are worth considering. They last for decades with minimal maintenance and develop a natural patina that protects against rust. I’ve used them on a few projects, and they’re easy to work with, plus they look great. They also handle bad weather well, which is handy if you're in an exposed location. Definitely a solid choice for a small build.
