Earlier September outing… what’s with the heat?

Started off misty and ended Far too hot and the rabbits were not for bolting, ended the day with 11 bunnies and a goose . Had a couple of this years young out who worked well too so not a disaster

Been some heat once it’s burnt of hasn’t it Ross couldn’t seen ten foot infront mornings last week then hitting onto the twenty’s in the afternoon 

cracking day out looks lovely ground …. How’s the rough coated one bred?

Dam was a beddy/grey x beardy/grey and sire was a deer/grey. She was the smallest in the litter making 23.5tts. She’s made a decent bitch. Very steady

I was hoping for a 50 day to start the season off lol, how’s the pup bred? Couldn’t ask for more from the bitch if I’m honest (well maybe the retrieve) marks 100%, works the cover, bullet proof with stock etc

She's a wee whippet greyhound only standing at 22tts at the moment, do t expect much more in height, retrieves like a spaniel so far lol you still got that auld Russel

My lurcher retrieves anything bar a live rabbit!! Auld terrier passed end of 2022, got a wee b*****d patt now Ach she’s no too bad to be fair

Had a couple frosts down here last week n now back to hot again hopefully have some decent cold snaps this year, last season cover was a nightmare here......looks like you've had a goodun tho

My pal had a terrier the spit of that was that bred in Glasgow mate was a few about similar stamp as that
