alimac 882
we are paying a similar price, its all to do with australias crop of wheat failing, alot of syndicate and chicken farmers etc will go bust as a result too, the people i know in the trade reacon that it wont drop much next year either, alot of shoots will be putting a extra few quid per bird aswell Quote Link to post
dead-eye 3
were paying abou £160 per tonne Quote Link to post

Dear aint it?Future markets have been signed for next year at average £170 a ton..Lol..Even the price of soggy spuds is going up for ducks.all animal feed gone up dog food and have you seen the price of cartridges it aint going to be cheap next season as just to add insult phessie poults ducks and partriges are all going to be higher. In the next couple of seasons we will look back on 2007-2008 as Halcyon Days Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
wouldn't worry about the price of wheat, it's the fooking fertilizer that's skyrocketed, due to china and america buying shiploads at a time, america is paying 50 dollar's extra on top of the selling price just to get it, So farmers buy now as it's taking a price hike again soon.......almost up 50% so far on last years prices here...... harrycatcat 31
Our small pheasant syndicate prices have gone up by £50 thats the down side. The up side is that loads of farmers have/are gona be planting wheat and similar to try and cash in so pigeon shooting will be good (hopefuly) Quote Link to post
