Yep, they are hard to get a read on. It can be the same with other dogs, they don't really give a tell before they grab hold of something. I think that's why people are wary of them, I'd rather have a quiet dog than a yapper and barker, they drive me up the wall. Lol 1 Quote Link to post

I am convinced them fekin cockerpoos' were created to fekin annoy neighbours. I have two near me yappy noisy fekin things but saying that my mate's wife has one that he's got hunting and working cover with his small lurcher and it's as good as gold and not an excitable little yappy fekin thing like the two near me. 2 Quote Link to post

Probably as the dogs occupied mentally and physically plus lot of pet dogs are fed the equivalent of doggy junk food that’s loaded with colours and preservatives and makes them hyper . 1 Quote Link to post

Hunting with james and his bulldogs was a real experence.. ya James 's passing is a real loss to not only to his family but also so the dog hunting comunity in NSW. he was a great mate and I treasure our long conversations about hunting dogs or bulldogs or birds or fowls and ofcause Im sure we solved many of the worlds troubles at times. haha. 1 Quote Link to post

stevemac 434
There are several ridged dog breeds in south east Asia the Rhodesian Ridge came from one of these that travel to Africa with traders. No doubt where the Rhodesians guarding instincts got a kick along. Quote Link to post
