Treeplanter 174 Posted September 8 Report Share Posted September 8 I’m sure these newspaper headline writers or whatever you call them never set foot outside, slightest bit of rain and we need to get Noah and his ark, slightest bit of sun and the death red heat shows up on the weather maps with threat to life warnings, slightest bit of snow and it’s a blizzard and you must not go out, slivers bit of wind and it’s gonna be a force 10 gale. what happened to normal weather reporting where you just hand a nice image of the sun on the weather map if was gonna be a bit hot instead of all this scaremongering? 5 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

FLATTOP 4,413 Posted September 8 Report Share Posted September 8 Personally I think with the winter fuel allowance if you pay the higher rate of tax 40% forfeit it as you don’t really need it £300 isn’t going to make a jot of difference to these tax payers,to allow those on the lower threshold of tax to receive it seems fair to me but there too thick and stubborn to see this. 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
