That's top and bottom of it mate only one went who is in our team and a few from other parts of the company who moan and groan about management to then go and socialise with them in their own time spending their own money is fekin mind boggling to me. An invitation card in an envelope was given to me for the event I just opened it ripped it up and chucked it in the bin saying I won't be fekin part of this nonsense. Lol

Here's a suggestion Tats. Contact the group that's booked and ask them to read out: "the first number is dedicated to the boss who is thankfully recovering after Steve? and Wayne? were surgically removed during  his colonoscopy."

 Steve and Wayne were a little browned off but feeling much better now after sufficient access to fresh air".

That should get the party going.

They were a few toe nails their mate that's what a lorry driver who worked there used to call them and as recently retired without any fuss as he had another few weeks to go before his finishing day and said feck it after coming back off his holidays and he was an ex miner like me.
